The ChatGPT Go plan normally costs ₹399 per month, but it’s now available for free starting November 4, 2025.

How to get ChatGPT Go free for one year?
Even though ChatGPT Go is being offered for free, you’ll still need to link a debit or credit card to activate the offer.
To activate the free ChatGPT Go plan, you will have to log in or sign up via the ChatGPT website or the mobile app. Once you sign in, you will see an option to enable the plan at no cost. If you don’t see the option, follow these steps.
- Open the ChatGPT website or the mobile app.

Difference between ChatGPT Go and the Free Plan?
There are a lot of differences between the ChatGPT Go and the free plan. The ChatGPT Go plan offers you everything included in the free plan, and:

- Extended access to image generation.
- Extended access to file uploads.
- Extended access to advanced data analysis.
- Longer Memory Storage.
- Access to projects, tasks, and custom GPTs.
What’s not included in ChatGPT Go?
You won’t get access to these things even with the ChatGPT Go Plan.
- OpenAI API Access
- Third-party connectors and Sora.
- Manual control of GPT-5’s ‘Thinking Mode’.
- Older models like GPT-4 Turbo and GPT-4o.
