| New Tales from the Borderlands |
Studio Gearbox Software recently announced a new Tales from the Borderlands game that will be released this year, however, the game has been completely absent since its unveiling in a teaser that does not show any details, and according to recent leaks, the title will be released sooner than expected.
New Tales from the Borderlands release date
According to the Amazon store, the game will be called New Tales from the Borderlands and released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Switch on October 21, 2022. Although there is no mention of a PC version, the game will likely be available on PC as well.
The official description of the title says:
Take a stand against ruthless corporate lords in this narrative-driven adventure within the war-torn city of Promethea, taking control of Anu, Octavio, and Fran on the worst day of their lives.Help these three as they seek to change the world (and possibly save it)! Face a deadly invasion, a ferocious beast, and a cold-hearted capitalist on a cinematic action-packed journey where it's up to you!
Developed under Telltale Games in partnership with Gearbox Software, the first Tales from the Borderlands game was released in November 2014. Despite its critical success, the game suffered from a slow development process, and the final episode wasn't released until about a year later in October 2015. Sometime later, the game was removed from the various stores after the development team's bankruptcy before returning later.
